Apple Salad

Dressing:
1/4 cup sugar2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp flour1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup water1 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients for dressing in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, remove from heat and cool.



Salad:
3 red apples diced but not peeled1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup mini marshmallows1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped celery1/2 cup raisins

When dressing is cool, pour over fruit mixture and toss lightly. Refrigerate overnight. Will keep for several days in an airtight container.
